Don't ask me what the title means. It's just an expression of happiness, out of boredom. Sincerest apologies to Shafienas, who is an avid reader of my blog. haha. She's one of the three or four who reads my blog. It's not THAT popular, you see. Anyway, I've missed updating my blog. My hiatus was nothing more than an excuse to study. Hmm, maybe not excuse. REASON. It was a REASON to study. Not an excuse. There's a difference.

Damn I'm missing the days in school. Then, we always had to think of the incredulously ridiculous deadlines and homeworks, and the worst thing ever; Tests. Back then we alwasys lamented on the freedom that awaits us after the gruelling A levels. Now that we are finally here, it seems like a really disappointing anti-climax. For me, personally, I'd usually think of the fun that I will have when this phase comes, but when it does, I'll be sitting on the sofa in my room, hugging my feet and just- BLANK. Nothing! Nothing intellectual comes into my head! It feels really scary. It's like a disease that eats you up from the inside. The blankness of it all... I'm sure everyone's feeling the same thing, oui?

Moving on.

There has been a couple of things that has popped up unexpectedly in my life; Godsent nonetheless. They are:
  1. Wonderful friends.
  2. Universitty Scholars Programme conditional admission
  3. Edusave merit bursary
  4. Coffee
  5. Family
  6. Friends. (Reiteration intended)
These are the things that made my hand shake in excitement whenever I think about them. Whether in fear or excitement, that's a whole different story. I guess I'm indeed blessed with the wonders of god. The things listed above has never once let me down(except for 2 and 3, since they are recent, and I don't think they can make me feel UN-happy).

Moving on, again.

While most people are busy looking for jobs nowadays, I have picked up two very strange habits/hobbies. I seem to have developed a keen interest in reading (since I see it as a cheap source of entertainment) and watching movies of yesteryear. I just finished reading a novel called "Pyramids"- a story whose plot is infused with Literature, egyptology, science, astronomy, geography and fantasy, all told in a Davinci Code fashion. At one glance at these topics, you might think: "Merlin's beard! Why is he reading all these geeky stuff?" Well, I told you. I need something intellectual to land on my head, instead of nitty gritty lame fantasy stuff that is "Hounds of Morrigan", which is another book i borrowed from the library.
The favourite movie from yesteryear that I have recently watched is Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber from Fleet Street. I previously had this preconceived notion of it being dumb and lame, but was I wrong. My interest in the movie, the reason why I forced myself through it, was because of Helena B Carter. Yes. The reason may seem trivial and superficial, but I have this major crush on her right now. It'll go away eventually, but right now... *dreamy eyes*
I liked her acting in Harry Potter HBP, where she acted as Bellatrix Lestrange. She's so believable as a demented masochistic witch. Not saying that it's my fetish, no. She's just super awesome... Pardon me if I'm flattering her too much here... I'm just a huge fan!

I went out with the ATTP crew the other day, where we(Me Faz and Nas) went to fetch Diy from the airport. Alot of things were out of the bag, and I was really grateful for their time and company. They never fail to add colour to my life, providing me with things to think about... Things pertaining to life. I mean, when we come together, subconciously we become really philosophical. Well, that's us i suppose. heheh...

Right, my hands hurt from the typing. It's been a long while, you see. So I'll leave it at this, and off I go to think about my essay for USP... What should I write about???

Truly,
Hunni.
