GOOD
This movie is a sure must-watch teen flick of the year!
Film start off with the song Now Or Never, which is as catchy as it can get, and the whole movie proceeds.
It's totally about the kids trying to figure out what they are really going to be doing after leaving school, with a little bitchiness, romance and arguments splashed in as well.
It was also nice to see that Miss Darbus got a little more limelight and significant role in this movie.
After the whole singing and dancing bits in the movie, the ending hit me the hardest.
Being the emotionally sensitive and susceptible to friendship-related mushy mushy things,
I was really hooked on to the ending.
It was great.
What am i talking about?
The final speech made by Troy.
He mentioned something that was equivalent to Ugly Betty's "You're a snow day."
He said, " Once a wildcat, always a wildcat."
How inspiring can that get?
As i was watching the movie with my friends, it made me think that maybe we were meant to meet 3 years ago.
And now, things are really going to start blossoming and growing into something beautiful.
Well, that's that from me,
And to sum it all up,
I'm giving this movie a 4.5 / 5.
Truly,
Hunni.

BAD
I have never seen anything more atrocious in my whole 17 years of life.
HSM3 was very tacky, very irritating and extremely boring.
The song starts off with Troy and the crew singing Now or Never while playing a basketball match.
Then there's the "after-party" and then the two lovebirds were up in a tree house, made by Troy and his dad, breaking up into a song .
Then there was this utmost tacky and lame bit.
It was about Troy not knowing how to waltz for the school prom,
and Gabby was supposedly trying to teach him.
Then they broke into yet another musical number,
And by the will of the almighty Director,
Troy becomes a waltzing prodigy.
He's strutting his stuff all over with Gabby,
When initially he doesn't know how to waltz.
Bringing me to another point.
There's this part when they were rehearsing for their Musical,
And Troy and Gabby were supposed to duet.
I'm not sure if there was an antecedent rehearsal,
But it just seems weird that they were looking at the lyrics in the scores for the first few lines of the song,
And suddenly after that they begin singing like they have known the song for years.
That just has the word TACKY written all over it.
The plot.
Oh don't get me started with the plot.
Let's review HSM 1 &2 shall we?
In HSM1,
Troy and Gabby were very intimate for the first 45 minutes of the movie,
and then Troy does something stupid only a jock would do,
Gabby broke into a song "When There Was Me And You"
and The love birds fly off in different directions.
Then they make up and make out.
In HSM2,
Troy and Gabby were working together happily for the first 45 minutes,
After which Troy did something to piss Gabby off,
And again, Gabby sang their break-up song "I Gotta Go My Own Way"
And They break-up again.
Then they make up. And make-out.
IN HSM 3.
GUESS WHAT HAPPENED???
Well it's obvious isn't it?
The lovebirds got separated, but do not officially break-up.
Either way, there's a chasm in their relationship.
Then Gabby was singing this song...Not sure what the title was,
But she left Troy for her University Orientation which was really really far away,
And then Troy picked her up from that University to make it in time for their Musical, which was 2 days after their prom.
Talk about efficient timing, i suppose.
Then they kiss kiss, Muakkz Muakkz, Uh-Uh-Uh,
And the Jock and the Brainiac lived happily ever after.
They bring a whole new meaning to the phrase "YOU COMPLETE ME"
So, this movie unfortunately gets 2.8/5 from me.
Cheers!
Truly,
Hunni.
