It's been a while, i know.
That's because i have been having my orientation these past couple of days.
Orientation.
The theme was "OLYMPIAN ODYSSEY".
This would be the second orientation this year.
There were two of them.
O1 was during the first day of school,
And the second one was during this week.
4 & 5 March.
there were 4 houses in both orientation.
HOUSES=Olympians
Get it?
Simple right?
The Olympians were purely based on the Greek Gods.
Namely: Hestia(Red) Hermes (Yellow) Athena (Green) and Poseidon(Blue)
I was in Hestia.
These were the houses for the first orientation, O1.
Then, during the orientation 2, O2,
The Olympians changed names,
Or as the OGLs said,
Took over the post of the previous gods.
They were: Alpheus(Red) Artemis(Yellow) Ares(Green) and Apollo(Blue)
I think there's a mix up with the Apollo and Alpheus' color.
i'm not sure.
So yeah.
Blah Blah Blah...

ORIENTATION 2!
during the first day,
we were grouped into our Olympians according to our CT(Classes)
I am in 0802,
And somehow got into Artemis.
Cool man.
My classmates were at first very quiet.
but then we got used to each other and talked like no one's business.
But that happened after 3 hours of Olympian fun time.
Olympian fun time is like the little time you get to spend time with your mates in your CT.
A.K.A Classmates.
haha.

The first activity was learning cheers.
It was ok i guess,
but i thought that it could have been better.
Don't know why.
the OGLs were super high,
but the people in the Olympian was super "low"
NOT ENTHU!
NOT HIGH!
NOT FUN!
i thought to myself.
but hey,
what's important is what my CT does right?
Then we went to the hall to do mass dance.
super fun, and funny.
well the funny part was mostly me lah.
the way i danced.
my new friend, Hui Yee kept laughing behind me when we were dancing.
She, and Eileen.
both dunderheads...
hahahaha
JUST KIDDING!
hahhaha
then after 2 hours of dancing,
we went for our lunch.
again, lunch was kinda quiet.
all of us were minding our own business with the person we know best in the CT.
i was mingling with Visha and Eileen.
And Marven, and Han Quan.
and Melissa and Michelle and luqman and alexander.
the rest went off because they felt that the orientation was boring.
i personally thought that the purpose of the orientation was not mainly for us to have fun,
but to foster team and class spirit.
i have to say this.
but before i do,

I AM MERE STATING MY P.O.V.
Since i was in secondary 3,
i have always wanted to be in a class with a class spirit.
I have to say, 3e1 disappointed me.
it was divided so much so,
that only the people from the same group supported each other.
it was very sad for me.

Then came CT 0802.
the girls in there were ok i guess,
but the guys there were so non enthusiastic!
i can pinpoint 2 of them, but i'd rather not.
after lunch, we went to play games.
DAMN SHIOK!
AHHAHAA
we were left with 4 boys and 8 girls by then.
the rest left.
Or didn't come,
Or was an OGL.
but during the games,
i learn that its not the size or quantity of the group,
but the quality and determination of the people in it.
that was exhibited by my CT during the games.
we cheered and played like no one's business.
it was uber fun.
we played games, and won nearly all...
NEARLY!
i hate 0806...
hahahahaha
and after fames,
we had another CT fun time.
we talked about....
err...
nothing i think.
we were super tired after the games.
we did some reflecting and revised some cheers for the competition the next day.
then the results for the olympian who get the highest points, obtained from the games, were announced.
we thought they were the official results,
but then it was just the update.
well,
here were the results:
4) Apollo
3) Ares
2) Alpheus
1) ARTEMIS!!!
hahaha
but haven't confirm win yet...

DAY 2 OF O2!
went to school with abundant lethargy
tired like crap.
first up was mass dance again,
and the n we had lunch.
Lunch that day was rather noisy,
since everyone was pumped up and got the ball rolling.
after a noisy lunch,
we had ...
WET GAMES!
hahaha

we played this game,
whereby we had to transfer water from cups on our heads and pass it down our CT, an d then the last person(Eileen) had to pour it into a bottle.
first CT to complete wins.
My CT was extremely efficient.
upon hearing th e rules,
we quickly got together and came up with a strategy.
we lined ourself up according to out heights,
me being the first one,
and eileen being the last one.
i passed only a half cupful of water to marven , and so on.
I got more confident and passed on full cups of water.
after a few rounds, we had to stop.
i was super blur lah...
then the game master said,
"The winning CT is...0802!!!"
we went bonkus!
we did it!
VAMANOS!
hahaha
OH YEAH!
there were 3 CT's competing against each other every 1 time
0802(My CT) was stuck with 0806 and 0810
damn sian
they buay song liao lah
then next we played
err...
wait arh, forgot.
erm.........
damn it...
shit shit shit!
erm...
some other wet games like CHIBABOM! (Waterbomb)
and 1 more game which i dunnoe wad.
OH YEAH!
Its called WET WINNER
lazy to explain lah
then we wanted to play the others,
but it rained...
so sian.
then luqman was like,
HANIFFA, WE HAVE TO GO FOR MLCS.
i was like, "What the EFF? spoil my mood for wad? damn sian lorhs..."

MLCS stands for malay cultural society.
it sucks.
BIG TIME.
It's where the malays go to get together.
kinda segregated if you ask me.
racist man.
so what if there's only a few malays enrolled in NYJC?
i dun give a damn!
i was automatically put into this silly club.
i refused to come again because i came home at 9 yesterday.
i hate going home late!
arghhhh!!!!!!

Phew...
Glad that's over.

I DON'T CARE, Really...

I spent the rest of the day in that accursed club!
i didn't get to spend time with my CT because of that!
and i missed the DANCING DIVA segment and CHEERING COMPETITION!!!!!
i hate mlcs...
well yeah. that was it.
orientation 2.
i had my level camp today.
wad was that?
you're confused?
ok,
ORIENTATION is just to get your CT together.
but level camp was for leadership.
had some external trainer to come and teach.
it was expensive, but HEAVILY subsidised by the school.
hmph, better than Damai...
:P
I'll blog about that tmr, cos i think you guys are bored of this post already.

P.S: I'm a changed person now. i used to be so lively and crazy.
but now i'm still and dead.
i don't want to commit to anything anymore,
and i feel that everything is a complete waste of time.
i don't know what is happening to me.
